Maplestory Legend Class

Thinking of doing some juicy damage? Do you ever wish that you had enough HP to survive a blow from the dreaded Orange Mushroom? Look no further and try out one of the Warrior Classes today! These beefcakes can pack a punch while taking all the heat of the battle at the same time. Having the most base HP out of the classes and having an array of defensive skills at their disposal, they can handle quite a beating. That being said, all that heavy armour they wear make them pretty sluggish. They aren’t exactly the most agile or elegant fighters on the battlefield but their defensive abilities and devastating attacks make up for it.

To help you decide, I have made a list of all the available warrior classes and a little summary for each. Just keep in mind that just because one class is more popular than another, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will like them too! Pick a class that well suits your play style instead. You’ll enjoy the game a lot more 😛

Hero

Heroes utilize a unique combat system which requires the player to focus on their combo stacks while attacking at the same time. They can either wield 2-handed axes and swords or their 1-handed variant with a shield.

What they bring to the table: They have good consistent DPS, great mobbing, great bossing potential, an attack boosting party buff, meh mobility.

Play Style: Close quarters combat either dealing massive 1 on 1 damage or multi-targets.

Final Notes: Heroes have a good bossing potential with their Enrage skill while still possessing a good mobbing ability. However, they may get repetitive since they only have 1 main bread and butter skill; Raging Blow. This skill only hits 5 times (6 with hyper skill) and may bottleneck future DPS.

Notable Skills: Raging Blow, Valhalla

Each class, or job, will have their unique set of skills. Cygnus Knights Explorers Heroes Resistance. This is unfortunate because it is by far my most favourite class in terms of the visual and theme of Shade. The spirits and color hues are totally my style!! On the other hand, the utility Shade has is INSANE! Soul Splitter alone is awesome for increasing damage to the whole party. It works similar to Illaoi E from League of Legends. MapleStory Cannoneer Skill Build Guide. Cannoneer is an Explorer pirate that was released in the MapleStory Legends update in 2011. Cannoneer doesn't follow typical pirate job advancements, instead the class must be created directly from th. Maplestory is one of the oldest MMORPGs out there. It was released back in April of 2003 and gone through several major updates since then. Furthermore, a plethora of new classes has been added to the game throughout the years, bringing the total number of classes to more than 40 classes.

Dark Knight

Dark Knights have many offensive buffs and attacks that rely on their massive health pool to inflict tons of damage. They can wield polearms and spears.

What they bring to the table: capable of doing high consistent DPS, excellent bossing ability, great mobbing, a HP boosting party buff, a defense boosting party buff, meh mobility.

Play Style: Up-in-your-face attacker that does concentrated multi line hitting attacks or good multi targeted attacks.

Final Notes: When bossing, Dark Knight’s heavily rely on the buff, Sacrifice, to ignore the cooldown on their bossing skill, Gungnir’s Descent. This means that when Sacrifice is on cooldown their DPS suffers a bit. That being said, they have the ability to out DPS most classes.

Notable Skills: Gungnir’s Descent, Dark Synthesis

Paladin

Paladins are a must have in any party due to their useful buffs they bring to the party. They can take hits far better than any other class while still being able to dish out modest damage. They utilize the different elements in their unique element charge system. Paladins can equip 2-handed blunt weapons or swords or their 1-handed variant with a shield.

What they bring to the table: able to take many hits, damage reduction buffs for the party, a debuff that reduces the enemy’s attack and defense, a buff that increases the skill levels of the party, meh mobility, meh bossing ability.

Play Style: Paladins are a front line support DPS class that does modest damage to multi and 1 vs 1 targets.

Final Notes: Paladins work well in a party environment because of all those juicy buffs and utility they provide. For solo bossing, they require some funding to do damage since they don’t have many % attack buffs. However, they possess elemental penetration which is very useful in the late game.

Notable Skills: Blast, Sacrosanctity

Aran

Arans devastate mobs of enemies with their large multi targeted attacks and intricate combos. They rely on keeping up their combo attacks on enemies to unleash their skills. They can only equips polearms.

What they bring to the table: many flashy animations, very good mobbing, an attack boosting party buff, meh mobility, okay bossing ability.

Play Style: They are close quarters combatants that use flashy skills to quickly clear waves of enemies.

Final Notes: This class has some of the best looking skill animations in the game but is lacking a bit in the multi-line hitting department. If you like seeing many lines pop up every time you attack, you might be a little underwhelmed by this guy. However if you really like big cool animations and combos, this class is for you. They are a blast to play!

Notable Skills: Beyonder, Combo Judgement

*Note: Arans are going to receive some changes in the next patch so look out for those!

Mihile

Mihile, one of Empress Cygnus’ loyal knights, is available to play !!! wo0o! Mihile uses the power of light to smite the evil that exists in Mapleworld. They use 1-handed swords along with soul shields.

What they bring to the table: an aura that boosts your allies’ attack power, abnormal status resistance, and defence, a good amount of status debuffs, good mobility, meh bossing ability.

Play Style: Front line DPS that can either hit multi targets or focused 1 vs 1 damage.

Maplestory Legend Class

Final Notes: Mihile can mob decently well and have quite a few damage boosting buffs and are okaay at bossing. They possess a skill thats similar to Hero’s Enrage that makes them do increased single target damage. They are a pretty average class.

Notable Skills: Four Point Assault, Deadly Charge

Dawn Warriors use both the power of the sun and the moon to aid them in battle. They can alternate through each stance to use a whole different skill set. They use 2-handed swords.

What they bring to the table: great mobbing ability, great 1 vs 1 ability, nice looking animations, good mobility, okay bossing ability.

Play Style: Front line attacker that can do well solo or in a party. Dawn Warriors use a sun/moon stance system to alternate between attacking modes, each with their own special traits.

Final Notes: An all in all fun class. They have great mobbing skills that are pretty to look at and have nice solo bossing skills as well. They have the potential to do pretty good DPS but require funding to get there.

Notable Skills: Cross the Styx, Solar Pierce

Demon Avenger

Demon Avengers use a unique combat system which empowers skills at the cost of draining HP. They possess an array of mobbing skills that can cut down hordes of foes. They can equip desperados which are unique to their class.

What they bring to the table: they have good mobbing skills, excellent mobility, good bossing ability.

Play Style: Front line attacker that alternates through many skills while having to keep track of their HP. They do well in mobbing and in bossing.

Final Notes: Demon Avengers are a great starting class since they can do decent damage without much funding. Their primary stat is HP, which is cheap to buy when compared to the other stats.

Notable Skills: Exceed: Execution, Thousand Sword

Demon Slayer

Demon Slayers use Demon Fury instead of mana to use their skills. They can recharge fury by inflicting damage on enemies. They possess many multi target hitting skills and combos can decimate your foes. They can equip 1-handed axes or blunt weapons.

What they bring to the table: they have excellent mobbing skills, good 1 vs 1 potential, excellent mobility, good bossing ability.

Play Style: Front line attacker with a variety of skills that are able to inflict big damage on solo monsters and mobs.

Final Notes: Demon Slayers are a great starting class due to how easy they are to play and how fast it is to train with them. They don’t need a lot of funding to get decent damage and are all in all a pretty fun class to play.

Notable Skills: Demon Impact, Demon Cry

Hayato

Hayato are skilled swordsman that strike down foes with speed and precision. They have a unique stance system which changes their skillset. They can wield katanas which are unique to this class.

Legend

What they bring to the table: high mobbing ability, good 1 vs 1 potential, excellent mobility, okay bossing ability.

Maplestory Class Popularity

Play Style: Hayato can enter a stance which makes their skillset concentrate their damage on a single target, great for 1 vs 1 situations. They are front line attackers that have many skills that combo well.

Final Notes: Hayato are a fun class to play because of how many ways there are to combo chain skills one after another. Having high mobility and good mobbing skills also makes them fun and easy to train. However, their single target damage is rather lacking when compared to other classes. They are also quite difficult to fund.

Notable Skills: RaiSanrenzan, Summer Rain.

Kaiser

Kaisers are half-human, half-dragon warriors that maneuver around the battlefield, preforming combos and attacks that gradually fill up his morph bar. Once it is full, Kaiser transforms into his true form. They can equip 2-handed swords.

What they bring to the table: great mobbing ability, excellent mobility, good bossing ability.

Play Style: They are front line attackers with many mobbing skills and a transform skill that enhances some skills in Kaiser’s skillset.

Final Notes: Kaisers have the potential to do relatively high DPS but require a lot of funds, due to their low % attack on skills. If you decide to dedicate your funds on Kaiser, you will be rewarded by a pretty cool class that is fun to play.

Maplestory Legend Classic

Notable Skills: Giga Wave, Ancestral Prominence

Zero

Zero, the Children of the Goddess, are highly mobile warriors that attack using a unique Time Force system instead of mana. They also have a tag team system with each form having different traits and skillsets.

Maplestory Job Class Legend

What they bring to the table: excellent mobbing ability, excellent bossing ability, excellent mobility, attack boosting or attack speed boosting auras, flashy animations.

Play Style: Zeros have an interesting battle system where they can alternate between their forms, Alpha and Beta, each possessing a unique set of skills and stat bonuses. They are a little hard to understand and control at first but as you get in the hang of it, they become super efficient mobbers and are able to devastate bosses with their combos. They are front line attackers with many skills that can affect a large area.

Final Notes: Zeros are capable of pumping out veeeery high damage for having not many funds. They are able to solo many bosses easily because of all the utilities they possess and DPS output. They also have a really interesting storyline, but you are kinda forced to follow it until Lv 180 (kinda a turnoff for many people…oh and they start at Lv 100!). These guys are the most fun class that I’ve ever played while looking bomb af (there might be some bias here hehe).

Notable Skills: Wind Strike, Jumping Crash

Well, that concludes this little guide. I hope you take some of this info into consideration when you choose a class for your next character! Have fun Mapling~
