Sdl Trados Studio Starter



Trados Studio Professional enables you to create and work with projects in any of the languages above. However, with the Starter or Freelance version of Trados Studio, you can only work with five languages at a time. I purchased Trados 2021 Starter and succesfully activated it with my licence code. Then I downloaded the app for the World Server compatibility, but I am no able to install it to Trados 2021 Starter - I have done the installation attempt exactla according to the instruction of the help contact person, and according to SDL articles here, but still the app is not installed and my Trados 2021.

You want to reset the five languages in a Freelance or Starter version of Studio 2015, Studio 2017 or Studio 2019 but are unable to reinstall Studio or, for internal use, you do not want to.
  1. Close Studio.
  2. Open Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoft
  • For Studio 2015, rename the LDSRClient4 key to LDSRClient4.old
  • For Studio 2017, rename the LDSRClient5 key to LDSRClient5.old
  • For Studio 2019, rename the LDSRClient15 key to LDSRClient15.old
4. Close Registry Editor and run Studio.
If you using Windows 10 and you cannot find the folder path, you can use the search option and look for LDSRClient .
* Regedit -> Edit -> Search
